Corbyn Schade bounced back from injury with victory and a course record time in the 5km trail race organised by Western AC on Sunday morning.
The Peel teenager set a time of 18min 22sec to win by 43 seconds from Laxey’s Charlie Swales.
Sam Perry of Ramsey crossed the finish line simultaneously with Swales, while round two winner Cian Howard again saw off senior runner Nigel Maddocks and round one winner Lucas Stennett for fourth spot.

Quaye was a full 52s clear at the finish, close to the kipper yards in Peel. Martin Moore had a good run to finish third in front of Western AC stalwart Geoff Rice, with Adam Fretwell the last runner to go under 41 minutes from the out-and-back course to St John’s.
Jackie Lee is steadily returning to form, first woman home in ninth spot, 16s in front of Dawn Atherton.
Billy McMullan won the one-kilometre race for youths, five seconds short of his pb and course record time four minutes dead.
Tara Nelson had a great first run in the series to finish runner-up and best girl in 4.13.
Similarly, Cai Lewis ran extremely well to see off rounds one and two winner Harry Stennett in the 2km event, with George Salter not far off the pace in third. The latter’s sister Holly was the leading girl in sixth spot.
