Regular visitor from Northern Ireland, Norbert Will won the latest round of the Winter Race Walking League at Ramsey on Sunday morning.

The veteran Ulsterman won the 10km race on handicap in an actual time of 1hr 14min 12sec, to lead home Kerry Palmer and Louise Hollings.

Fastest overall were Gianni Epifani (Manx Harriers) in 47.59 and Erika Kelly (Northern AC) in 48.05 after walking much of the race in tandem.

Sponsored by Up & Running (IoM) Ltd, round three of the league also included a 5km race, won by Diane Brown from Rebecca Greatbatch on handicap, and three junior events over shorter distances on the same Mooragh Promenade-based course.
