Vikings C can be crowned Rossborough Women’s Division Two champions and seal promotion if they can overcome Saracens B this Saturday.

Vikings are undefeated so far this season and as long as they can get the better of this weekend’s opponents, they will be five points clear of Bacchas C who aren’t in action.

Valkyrs C travel to Ramsey confident of victory against Ramsey B in order to maintain their push for second place in the standings.

Elsewhere, Ramsey A and Saracens A face off with the latter having enjoyed some extraordinary results during the last couple of weeks. This will be a true test of their progress this year: with the last meeting ending in a draw, Saracens will be hoping to take it one step further.

Bacchas A are hoping to reclaim top spot when they take on mid-table side Valkyrs A. Although the latter have been impressive at times this year, they haven’t quite been able to break the dominance of the top two and will therefore be hoping to catch Bacchas A out.

One of the biggest games of the season takes place when Vikings A and Valkyrs A go head-to-head in their quest for the Rossborough Women’s Premier League title.

The last game between the two was a nervy affair that was eventually won by the All Blacks. Although nothing can be decided this weekend, should Vikings A win they would move four points clear and would only require a point in their last two games to guarantee them the title.

Elsewhere, Castletown A take on Bacchas B with the southerners looking to remain in third place ahead of Ramsey A who take on basement side Saracens A. If the latter lose and Bacchas A somehow overcome Castletown, then Saracens A will be relegated from the top flight.

While nothing can be decided in the Rossborough Men’s Division One, Bacchas B will be hoping to take a giant leap towards promotion when they face second-placed side Harlequins A.

The two sides are currently level on points but Bacchas have proven incredibly difficult to beat this year and have a game in hand on the chasing pack.

Vikings C will be hopeful of taking something away from Valkyrs B to aid their own relegation battle, while Castletown A will be desperate to pull clear of the drop zone when they face a weakened Vikings B side.

Valkyrs B became the first league winners of the year when they overcame Vikings B last week in Rossborough Women’s Division One.

With the title decided, attention shifts to the relegation battle which is a close contest between Bacchas B and Castletown B. Only one point separates the two sides, with Bacchas B taking on Harlequins and Castletown facing Vikings, therefore the relegation fight could get even more interesting after Saturday.

The closest title race in Manx hockey is currently between Ramsey B and Saracens B in the Rossborough Men’s Division Two. With both sides level on goals scored, goals conceded and points, it could end up being a race to the wire.

Saracens first have a southern derby to contend with, while Ramsey B take on the impressive Bacchas Colts. Elsewhere, Harlequins B take on Bacchas C in the basement battle.
