The trial of a 46-year-old Peel man accused of nine counts of rape is set to start today (Tuesday).

William Henry Kelly, of Magher Breek, has denied the rape charges as well as three indecent assaults, two assaults causing actual bodily harm, an act against public justice, one harassment charge and one of common assault. The trial is scheduled to last 14 days.
