Police are appealing for information after a cast iron water pump was stolen from a garden in Ballasalla.

The theft is thought to have taken place between Thursday (January 17) and today (Saturday) in Clagh Vane.

A police spokesman said: ’The owner of this item is very upset and distressed at the loss as it was a cherished item having been passed down by a recently deceased relative.’
