A Douglas man has appeared in court charged with four offences including attempted murder.

Paul Ford, aged 29, of Willaston Crescent, appeared before Deputy High Bailiff Chris Arrowsmith yesterday (Monday).

He is charged with attempted murder, making a threat to kill or cause serious injury, assault and possession of an offensive weapon.

No pleas were entered and Ford is next due to appear before the court on Thursday.
