Benefit fraud charges against Toni Milligan, aged 36, of Laburnum Avenue, Pulrose, have been withdrawn.
Her partner Paul Robinson, aged 43, of the same address, has admitted 10 counts of benefit fraud and is due to be sentenced on May 2 after the preparation of a probation report.
He admitted receiving an overpayment of £11,897 after he failed to declare he sold Manx coins on eBay which had netted him about £30,000. Prosecutor Barry Swain told the court Robinson had said that his partner, Ms Milligan, was unaware of his eBay activities.Robinson was bailed. High Bailiff Jayne Hughes ordered the probation report consider all options, including custody.
