A motorcyclist from Sulby has been convicted of six motoring offences.
Thomas Daniel Richards, of Ballabrooie, admitted driving while disqualified, having no insurance, having no vehicle licence, not wearing a crash helmet, not displaying a registration mark, and having a vehicle in a dangerous condition.
The 21-year-old also pleaded guilty to a seventh offence of possessing cannabis.
The driving offences were committed on June 16 while Richards was riding a Yamaha RSS100 motorbike while the cannabis offence took place on September 13.
Defence advocate Matthew Wilshaw said that his client had been handed a suspended sentence in November but those offences had taken place after the June and September ones so he was not in breach of the sentence.
Magistrates adjourned the case until January 30 for an updated probation report to be completed and ruled that it should consider all options, including custody.
Bail was granted in the sum of £500 with conditions that Richards reside at his home address and contact probation.
