A motorcyclist is being treated in hospital after he was injured when he lost control of his machine yesterday.

The incident happened at 5.50pm at the Blackboards on the main road between Santon and Ballasalla.The rider and his machine had left the road and crashed down a grass verge.Emergency services worked to transfer the casualty to a waiting ambulance which took him to Noble's.
