Two motorcyclists were critically injured in a head-on-crash on the Mountain Road.
A 17-year-old male from Humberside and 41-year-old man from Ramsey were airlifted to Aintree Hospital in Liverpool where they are both currently receiving medical treatment for their injuries.
Both riders’ current condition is described as critical but stable.
Police said the motorcyclists were travelling in opposite directions when the crash took place at Guthrie’s at about 4.30pm on Wednesday.
The Mountain Road between Ramsey Hairpin and the Bungalow was closed for some time while emergency services dealt with the incident.

This morning (Thursday) the Mountain Road was closed again for a time after a car overturned at the Goosneck. No one was injured.
