A big wagon has fallen into the glen at Governor’s Bridge dip causing a road closure.

The wagon was facing in the direction of Onchan between the Governor’s Bridge roundabout and the junction at the top of Victoria Road.

The road is shut at this time while emergency services deal with the situation. It would appear that the wagon has also demolished the wall on the side of the road.

The police have since added that the road may remain closed after 5pm and advised motorists heading home to avoid the junction.
