Fire crews from Ramsey were dispatched this morning (Tuesday) to reports of a car on fire in the Sulby area.

Firefighters used a 45mm jet to extinguish the flames in the car which was situated on the back of a flat deck truck.

Crews remained in attendance for about 30 minutes ensuring that all hot spots were cooled.
