A car ended up upside down in a tree after an accident this afternoon.

Crews from Ramsey and Douglas fire stations, the police and the ambulance attended the scene at the Waterworks, Ramsey.

The driver had escaped serious injury and was able to get out of the car before the emergency services arrived.
