On arrival they found the vehicle had left the road with one occupant inside, who was then transferred to a waiting ambulance.
The scene was left in the hands of the police.
Earlier in the week on Monday (November 1), fire crews attended two other single-vehicle crashes.
The first involved a car leaving the road at Douglas Golf Club, with an enhanced rescue vehicle being sent.
The second took place at New Castletown Road, where the occupant had managed to free themselves.
