Firefighters dealth with a chip pan fire in Castletown last night (Thursday).
Crews were called from Malew fire station to a smoke-logged property in Arbory Street in Castletown.
The fire had been extinguished before they arrived.
Fire crews used a fan to ventilate the property of smoke.
Later that evening crews from Malew were mobilised to Malew Street in Castletown to stop flooding by using sandbags and clearing drains.
