John George Moore, aged 72, and Patricia Moore, 71, both of Santon, have appeared in court charged with VAT evasion in the sum of £320,000.
No pleas were entered as the couple appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes on Tuesday.
They are next due to appear on July 28 and will be committed for a pretrial review on August 25.
