Richard Malcolm Powell, aged 60, of Lhergy Cripperty, Union Mills, has been granted permission to leave the island as part of his bail conditions.
He has previously denied allegations of threatening behaviour, a section-two public order offence, and one of driving while disqualified.
Permission has been given for him to leave the island between September 28 and October 7 to travel to England.
He must contact police within two hours of his return.
A pre-trial review was due to be held on October 8 but has now been moved to October 15 as Mr Powell will be isolating upon his return and then intends to pay £50 for a Covid-19 test.
