Richard Malcolm Powell, aged 60, of Lhergy Cripperty, Union Mills, will face a trial on November 23.
Mr Powell has previously denied threatening behaviour, driving while disqualified and a provoking behaviour offence.
A request to vary his bail, to allow him to leave the island, was opposed by prosecuting advocate Barry Swain.
Magistrates refused the request to remove the condition and bail continues in the sum of £500 with that in place as well as conditions not to enter a named business and not contact witnesses.
Magistrates said that any applications to leave the island on specific dates could be dealt with administratively.
