A diver had to be flown off-island for treatment after getting into difficulty off the Manx coast.

A Coastguard helicopter was mobilised just before 4.30pm on Wednesday to transfer the casualty from Noble’s Hospital to a hospital on the Wirral.

Douglas Coastguard attended to help with the landing of the helicopter.
