Port Erin Coastguard rescued a dog which had become separated from its owner in Port Erin last night.

The volunteers were called out just after 6pm to assist after the dog was trapped on the headland at Bradda Head.

The young boxer and owner, who was not in difficulty, were located after a brief search..

A member of the team made their way to the animal and carried it back to the safety of the path.
