This was the scene after a mini-digger rolled over in Dalby, trapping the driver inside.

The mini-digger was being used to demolish a building when it tipped over. Emergency services responded to a 999 call at 3pm on Monday.

Paramedics and firefighters from Peel and Rushen attended the incident.

Fire crews stabilised the overturned digger while ambulance crews checked the casualty for injuries.

A hydraulic ram was then used to release the trapped driver who was then taken by ambulance to Noble’s Hospital for checks.

Fire crews were in attendance for about 30 minutes.
