Natasha Hayley Madden, aged 22, and Ashley Nicholas Stewart, aged 28, both of Demesne Road, Douglas, have appeared in court after an air pistol was found in a car on the ferry.
Ms Madden pleaded not guilty to possessing an imitation firearm and possession of a regulated weapon without a certificate.
Mr Stewart denied possessing an imitation firearm but pleaded guilty to possession of a regulated weapon without a certificate.
The gun was found during the police’s new Operation Strongbox on June 27.
A pre-trial review will take place in summary court on August 31.
Bail was granted for both in the sum of £500 with a condition that Mr Stewart lives at his home address while Ms Madden live at Tromode House.
