Criminals are actively targeting the island using fake but very similar emails to trick people/companies into handing over money.

The police said: ’Gmail and Monza bank are legitimate but have been used in the scams and have featured in two reported scams last week.

’It is likely they find out about you or your business from your websites. Watch out and speak to the person trying to get money from you.’
