A youth was returned to their parents ’shaken but none the worse’ after emergency crews rescued them from a cliff at Port Jack.
Douglas Coastguards were called to a report of a youngster clinging to the newly coated cliff face in Onchan on Sunday (January 26) at just after 5pm.
On arrival they found police had managed to get a line thrown down to help the youngster.
A coastguard cliff technician then reached the youth to securely recover them back to the top.
They were ’checked over and passed to their parents shaken but none the worse for their experiences,’ a spokesman said.
