A young man who was working as a pizza delivery driver claimed more than £2,400 in benefits to which he was not entitled, a court has been told.
Leo Shane Jordan Ken Milligan, of Waverley Terrace in Douglas, claimed benefits between February and August, 2016, a court was told, but worked delivering pizzas between March and October without declaring his £4,200 earnings to the benefits agency.
The 22-year-old admitted four offences of benefit fraud between April and August last year. His advocate Deborah Myerscough said he had repaid £50 of the outstanding amount so far and had set up an order to pay £20 per week.
He reappears for sentencing on August 3 following preparation of a pre-sentence report. He was bailed.
