The captain of a fishing boat that began to sink in Douglas harbour called 999 at 4am today.
The vessel was tied up alongside another boat on Red Pier.
A pump from Douglas fire and rescue station attended and using a high volume ejector’ pump managed to pump the water out of the boat to allow a temporary repair to stop it taking on more water..
Crews were there for about two hours.
