Fire crews were called to a house fire in Governor’s Hill, Douglas.
The call-out was today (Saturday) at about 6.30am and involved three fire engines and an aerial ladder platform.
Station officer Matt Tyrer said: ’Upon arrival of the first appliance, crews quickly confirmed that all persons were accounted for.
’A team of two breathing apparatus wearers with a high pressure hose-reel were sent into the building to locate the fire and extinguish it, the property was heavily smoke logged.
’The fire was extinguished and the house then ventilated using a high pressure ventilation fan.’
