Earlier today the fire service’s aerial ladder platform was used to help remove a casualty from a fourth floor window.
Crews from Douglas were mobilised by the Emergency Services Joint Control Room to assist colleagues from the Isle of Man Ambulance Service at a property at Church Road Marina.
A spokesman said: ’Crews utilised an aerial ladder platform to create a safe egress point to extricate the casualty. The casualty was removed from a 4th floor window of the building and transferred to a waiting ambulance.’
