The fire service has recently responded to two different tractor fires.
The first was yesterday evening (July 23) in a field in Ronague.
Fire crews wearing breathing apparatus used high pressure hose reels and a jet to extinguish the tractor fire and prevent radiated heat setting fire to nearby vegetation.
