Simon Peter Ball, aged 46, of Waterloo Road, Ramsey, has denied assault causing grievous bodily harm.

He also pleaded not guilty to possession of criminal property, namely £9,000 in cash, and possession of cannabis with intent to supply.

Mr Ball is accused of assaulting a man at Waterloo Road on November 2.

Magistrates declined jurisdiction and the case will be committed to the Court of General Gaol Delivery on June 20.

Bail continues in the sum of £500.
