Golf balls were apparently thrown at a house in Port Erin, smashing a conservatory window.
Police say the incident at the property in Maghercarran left the victim shaken as there was a young child in the house at the time.
The vandalism took place between 5pm and 8.40pm on Tuesday this week, with the golf balls thrown from the direction of Magherrosien.
A police spokesman said: ’This time it was a window next time it could be you so let’s stamp it out now.’
Anyone with information about who was responsible for the smashed window is urged to contact Constable Hay at Castletown police station on 822222 or via headquarters on 631212. Alternatively, you can ring Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
