Fire crews have assisted the ambulance service to evacuate a patient from a second floor hotel room.
Isle of Man Ambulance Service put the pictures of the evacuation on its Facebook page saying all three services were involved.
The fire service used their aerial ladder platform to remove the patient from the second floor of the Rutland by taking the woman out the window.
The fire service said: ’Crews used the aerial ladder platform to remove the casualty from a second floor window as this was deemed to be the most suitable and comfortable exit.’
Since the post was made on Facebook, members of the public have praised the professionalism and skill shown by the emergency services in handling the situation and removing the woman from the room.
