Detectives are investigating the theft of jewellery during a house burglary.

Raiders struck at a home in the Keeil Pharick area of Glen Vine on Monday last week (August 7)

A quantity of jewellery and a jewellery box along with cash were taken.

It is believed the stolen items were removed from the house in a Jack Wolfskin backpack.

Detective Constable Louise Kennaugh said: ’Some of the items taken were of sentimental value to the owner and some are easily identifiable.

’I am hoping that by sharing some of the pictures of the items taken then if anyone sees them that they get in touch so that we can return them to the rightful owner’.

If anybody is offered any jewellery for sale or any of the other stated items please contact DC Kennaugh in the CID office on 631301 or any police officer on 631212.
