Two of the island’s most recognisable police officers are to deliver a talk tomorrow evening on ’keeping your child safe’.

Constables PC Mike Griffiths and PC Paddy Moore are hosting the evening at Ballakermeen High School, which both have worked closely with in recent years.

The session will address issues relating to drug and alcohol abuse among young people, the dangers of social media and child sexual exploitation.

As well as shining a spotlight on the issues, the session will include practical tips and advice for parents and carers.

The evening is being held in the school’s theatre tomorrow (Wednesday, February 7) and is due to begin at 7pm.
