A man aged 43 has died after falling from a car park in the capital, say police.

Roads around Market Street, Douglas, were closed for several hours last night.

Police announced today (Saturday) that following the closure of roads around Market Street yesterday they can ’confirm that a 43-year-old male had fallen from the Chester Street car park and subsequently died from his injuries’.

A police spokesman said: ’Police are investigating and no further comment will be made at this time.

’We request that everyone respects the privacy of his family at this difficult time.’
