A man has appeared in court in connection with a stabbing, which took place at Hillside Avenue in the early hours of Wednesday.
Thomas James McBurnie, aged 21, of Cronk y Berry, Douglas, is charged with malicious wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
The offence can only be heard at the Court of General Gaol Delivery.
The case will be committed to the higher court on August 15.
He was represented in court by advocate Jane Gray.
No pleas have been entered to the charge.
Mr McBurnie will appear in summary court again via video link from the prison on June 27.
No bail application was made and he was remanded in custody.
