Committal proceedings against a Liverpool man accused of two drug offences will take place on September 7.

Stephen James Wharton, aged 53, of Kirkdale, appeared via live video link at Douglas Courthouse on Thursday/last week.

The case will be elevated to the Court of General Gaol Delivery on September 7.

There was no application for bail and he was remanded at the prison.
