A 30-year-old Douglas man has pleaded guilty to a charge of provoking behaviour.
Shaun David Bignall, of Empire Terrace, had an initial charge of affray against him withdrawn and replaced with the one of provoking behaviour.
The offence took place at Station Road in Port Erin on August 8.
The case was adjourned to allow time for a probation report to be prepared before sentencing.
It puts Bignall in breach of a suspended sentence imposed in January for assault and criminal damage.
High Bailiff Jayne Hughes refused bail. Bignall was remanded in custody until September 10 when he will be sentenced.
Mrs Hughes ordered that the report consider all options, including custody.
