A 33-year-old man from Port St Mary has appeared in court denying committing a burglary at Davison’s Ice Cream shop on Peel Promenade.

Craig William Tiernan, of Bay View Road, is scheduled to attend a pre-trial review on September 19.

A bail application was denied by Deputy High Bailiff Jayne Hughes and Mr Tiernan was remanded in custody.

He will appear in court next on August 29 via a video link to the prison.
