A 59-year-old man from Wales is due to appear in court tomorrow (Friday) for an alleged breach of emergency Covid-19 powers.

He is accused of giving false details when he arrived in the island by plane on Friday.

The man was arrested by police on Thursday.

He has been charged under the government’s emergency powers and held in custody until his court appearance.
