A man is receiving care at a UK hospital after he was found with ’serious’ injuries on St Ninian’s High School grounds on the corner of Bray Hill and Ballaquayle Road, Douglas.

The man is currently in the intensive treatment unit at Walton Hospital in Liverpool.

His condition is described as ’serious but stable’ by police, who are continuing their investigations into the incident which took place last week.

Police cordoned off an area of the Douglas school on October 11, but confirmed that the matter was not connected to the running of the school.
