Daniel Moon, of Woodbourne Road, in Douglas, admitted swearing at police and refusing to leave the area outside the bar, in Barrack Street, despite having no recollection of the incident.
The 27-year-old appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes for sentencing on Tuesday.
Prosecutor Rachael Braidwood told the court that police were called to the area of Barrack Street on September 1 at 1.35am.
Moon was said to be angry after having been refused entry to the bar and was refusing to leave the area.
Police arrived and reported that he was unsteady on his feet and had glazed eyes.
Moon continued to refuse to leave the area and then started swearing at police, telling them where to go.
He was eventually arrested and taken to police headquarters. Defence advocate Winston Taylor said: ’Mr Moon was out with colleagues.
’He works as a chef. He went out at 10pm. He doesn’t recall being at the Outback but accepts what the police and door staff have said.
’He wishes to apologise for his behaviour.’
High Bailiff Jayne Hughes said: ’Yet another person who who doesn’t take advice from police officers when told to leave an area.
’No doubt you spent a night in the cells.’
Moon admitted a charge of being drunk and disorderly.
He was fined £350 and ordered to pay £125 prosecution costs.
