A 38-year-old Peel man has been convicted of two counts of driving whilst disqualified and two of having no insurance.
Joseph Denis Avery, of Castle Street, admitted the offences and will be sentenced on August 2 after a probation report has been completed.
The court heard how, in November 2017, Avery was disqualified from driving for nine months.
However, on May 28, police stopped him driving a Volkswagen Golf at Shoprite in Derby Road in Peel.
He was again stopped on June 20 on Saddle Road in Braddan.
Bail was granted in the sum of £500.
