A 23-year-old Ramsey man has had a community service order revoked and replaced with a probation order.
Callum Matthew Kinrade, of Lheaney Grove, was sentenced to community service for common assault in December last year after punching a man at the Courthouse bar.
On Thursday, the court heard that he had completed 32 hours out of the 80-hour order but was now working six days a week in his job.
A probation report said that Kinrade had a positive working relationship with probation services and suggested replacing the community service order with a probation order.
Defence advocate Paul Rodgers said that his client had two young children who he could only see on Sundays due to his work commitments.
Magistrates agreed to revoke the community service order and replace it with a 12-month probation order.
