Firefighters were called to a flat fire on Mona Drive, Douglas, at 10.30pm on Tuesday.

The occupants told crews they had left a pan on the hob but had turned off the heat. There were no reported injuries. Firefighters vented the flat to clear the smoke. They were at the scene for about 20 minutes.
