The incident, involving a red car with L plates being driven by a female driver, happened in Ronague Road, in Ballabeg, at about 4pm on Tuesday.
Police say: ’Upon passing Ballacubbon Estate it has driven too close to the pavement which has caused the wing mirror of the car to clip a pedestrian who was walking on the pavement at the time.
’The car carried on and went in the direction of Colby.’
