Police in Castletown say anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated after a group of youths kicked over and smashed plant pots.

The incident took place in Mill Street on Tuesday this week, between 9.20pm and 9.35pm.

Numerous pots were kicked over and two thrown into the road resulting in the pots being smashed and their contents left in the highway.

A group of teenagers were seen running from the area.

Constable Gemma Berry said: ’This type of anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated and the people responsible clearly haven’t considered the impact that this could have on the owner, the person having to clear it up, or the people driving cars in that area where the broken ceramic pots were left.’

If you know who is responsible contact Constable Berry at Castletown police station on 822222 or via headquarters on 631212. Alternatively, you can rin Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
