Police are investigating an assault that took place last night in Douglas.

Officers say a young man was assaulted at about 9.30pm behind the Strand Shopping Centre, Market Street, Douglas.

Police want to speak to the victim.

On social media, they say: ’We are also keen to identify the people involved in this incident as it is a violent and unnecessary attack.’
