Police are appealing for witnesses after two men were assaulted in the island.

Police said there had been an ’altercation’ involving a number of men at about 7.35pm yesterday (Saturday) outside Best Kebab on Marina Road, Douglas.

It resulted in two men being assaulted, said police.

Police are appealing for any witnesses who saw the incident to get in touch with PC Dan Willson of Douglas Police on 631212.
