Police are warning motorists to stick to the enforced 30mph speed limit on Brown Cow Hill in Santon.

The constabulary announced today (Tuesday) that officers are carrying out speed checks in the area, which is normally a 50mph limit, as workers are on the road.

It has warned that those who speed could end up with three points on the licence or a court appearance.
